Hello Everyone! So for today, I decided to start a little mini series of articles here on my blog. I was getting ready to write yet another foods only 90s/00s kids will remember post (because you guys really seem to love them and I love writing them!), when I realized there are so many old school cartoons that had specialized foods for a while. There have been so many instances where brands have taken cartoon characters and specialized their items to fit the character’s theming. So in this mini series I will be taking one character or show at a time and bring back some nostalgic food items you will definitely remember having back in the day! Today we’re gunna focus on good ol’ Scooby Doo. I LOVED Scooby Doo and still do to this day, but lets be real, the true OG days were back in the 90s/ early 00s for this lovable dog. Lets dive in!
14. Pillsbury Cookies

Wow looks just like him right? I feel like as a cartoon you know you’ve hit it big when they make a Pillsbury cookie out of you. You really can’t go wrong with these AMAZING cookies. They’re truly addicting.
13. Pop Tarts

I always thought these pop tarts were so cool solely because they were green and orange. When I was little, even though I wasn’t a huge mixed berry flavor person, I would always eat one of these when offered to me because I felt like it made me look cool. I was a strange child.
12. Go-Gurts (Or Ro-Gurts)

Go-Gurt was literally my all-time favorite snack as a kid. Honestly getting the urge to go buy a pack right now just to feel the nostalgia of it. But if you’ve read my past articles you would know that my all-time favorite Go-Gurt was strawberry or berry, but FROZEN. Frozen Go-Gurt is life. Anyways, Scooby Doo Go-Gurts were a staple in my Aunt’s household because my cousin and I use to be obsessed with the show. So you could say I am well-acquainted with solving the mysteries and riddles on these Go-Gurt tubes. For those of you who don’t know what I mean, the tubes would often have riddles on them and the answers would appear when you got all the yogurt out.
11. Cereal
Never tried this cereal, but I definitely remember seeing it on the shelves in my super market. When I was little, I always found it so interesting to see all the different marshmallow shapes brands could come up with. Extremely random, but it definitely kept my occupied in the cereal aisle.
10. Graham Crackers (Or Scooby Snacks)
I was a big Teddy-Grahams and graham cracker kid in general back in the day. So you better believe I got so excited when I saw I too could eat Scooby Snacks like Scooby Doo himself!
9. Fruit Roll Ups

Did anyone else only truly eat these to play with the tongue tattoos? I didn’t mind the taste of fruit roll-ups, but the texture and stickiness kind of grossed me out sometimes as a kid.
8. Kid Cuisine

My mom never let me even try one of these bad boys and honestly I don’t blame her. I have never seen a brand that screams processed, fake food more than Kid Cuisine meals. Just look at that green dipping sauce! Sorry guys.
7. Trix Yogurt

Just like Go-Gurt, I loved yogurt in general as a kid. Strawberry Banana was definitely my all-time favorite flavor though!
6. Gingerbread House
I actually think these may be newer, but I definitely remember seeing them on the shelves around Halloween time. Usually I found them in craft stores, but I’m sure the grocery stores had them too. Never tried building either of these, but they look like fun little activities!
5. Valentine’s Day Candy Kits
Definitely got a solid amount of Scooby-Doo valentines back in my day. Loved getting any sort of Valentine’s Day card that came with a lollipop. Felt like hitting the jackpot as a kid. Something about the Valentine cheap lollipops always hit different. So did the 1$ heart-shaped candy boxes. They always seemed to taste better the cheaper the candy got.
4. Kraft Macaroni & Cheese

GUYSSSSS. THIS. MAC N CHEESE. WAS. LEGENDARY. Anything that was Kraft and had shapes always tasted better. Like my top three go to’s for shaped Mac N’ Cheese was always Scooby Doo, Spongebob, or Blues Clues with the cool Blue paw prints. Like you could NEVER go wrong with a pack of shaped, cheesy goodness.
3. Push-Ups
Always ate them when offered, but was never a huge fan of Push-Ups because of how much of a mess they made. As soon as they started to melt (which I also was picky and refused to eat anything once it started to melt) it was like a volcano of stickiness. Not my favorite.
2. Popsicles
When it came to ice cream truck pops, I usually opted for the Bubbles (from Powerpuff Girls) or Tweetie bird before I got a Scooby Doo one. As for the Mystery pops, I think I may have had one in my lifetime. I never liked not knowing what the flavor was going to be so I usually wouldn’t eat them.
1. Fruit Snacks
THE TRUE OGS OF MY CHILDHOOD. THESE WERE THE BEST GUMMIES AND STILL ARE HANDS DOWN. IF YOU DON’T KNOW WHAT I’M TALKING ABOUT THEN YOU CLEARLY HAVE NEVER HAD THAT BLUE SCOOBY GUMMY. I don’t know what it was about the gummy being a solid color that made it taste better, but dang the blue gummies in these packs were GOOD. I saved the BEST for last with this one!
