LETS GET THIS SPOOKY SZN STARTEDDDD. Last night was an amazing way to end my time here in Florida with a bang! My friend McKenzie and I got to go to one of the first Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Parties of the season! We all know how much I love the holidays, so I am ALWAYS down to start early!
I highly recommend going to a party if you are able to. It is certainly worth the price of the ticket because they are able to completely transform Magic Kingdom into a spooktacular world. With the party comes specialized trick or treat stands, meet & greets with exclusive/rare characters, special food, and attraction layovers! Plus a Hocus Pocus stage show, Boo To You Parade, and as of this year, all new firework show you can’t see any other time besides the Halloween parties!
Overall I think the highlights of my night were definitely the new firework show because the castle projections were absolutely amazing and so was the Jack Skelington Puppet! I also loved the Space Mountain overlay because even when you think the ride was dark beforehand, this version is TOTAL darkness with the addition of some pretty awesome music. Lastly, besides the amazing candy options they had, the Haunted Mansion area will still always be the best part. They don’t do much differently, but the Cast Members get to really bring out their spooky side with specialized makeup, they also have live ghost actors walking around explaining how they died, special photopass options as well as uplighting, and overall it’s a super fun atmosphere!
