Special Update: Super Bowl 2017

Hello everyone! I decided to write a quick post about the awesome experience I had today! So as some of you may know… THE PATRIOTS WON THE SUPER BOWL. To my New Englanders up north, believe it or not, some people don’t like the Patriots! Crazy right? They’re just jealous if you ask me… anyways we won so ummm HA. Now for years I have watched the Super Bowl and no matter who wins, I have always loved the one question asked by the announcers at the end of each game: You just won the Super Bowl, what are you going to do next? For those of you that know the answer say it in your head with me: IM GOING TO DISNEY WORLD.  Something about that part always made me happy.

Anyways that night after we won a realization popped into my head, someone from the Patriots was coming to Disney to celebrate… and wait a second, IM IN DISNEY. That’s when I realized I had Monday off and couldn’t miss the opportunity to go and support my team! So after class yesterday morning, I got to the Magic Kingdom as quickly as possible. No despite what I said about some crazies not being Patriots fans, Main Street was filled with them! I’m talking Patriots jerseys left and right. There was red, white, and blue balloons going up and down the street, camera crews were set up in front of the castle, some people even dressed their kids up as footballs! One thing I will always love is the spirit and pride we New Englanders have, especially in our sports teams. Even all the way down in Florida, there were plenty of New Englanders around to represent and celebrate our win! When the parade started the streets were lined with cheering fans. James White was on the float to represent our team with his winning touchdown. Characters on the float surrounded White while decked out in Patriots jerseys! Music blasted, confetti sprayed, and everyone chanted as the champion rode down Main Street. It really was a sight to see. I am so lucky to say that during my program I not only got to experience a Super Bowl parade (something I’ve always dreamed of seeing) in Magic Kingdom, but one for my home team!

Below you will find the link to a Toria’s Tales of Disney Short (as I like to call it) that I put together of the parade! Enjoy!

Did he have children with him?
Bennett . Number 88, I think was looking for an invitation from Disney. He said after the WIN during an interview… I’d like to go to Disney and looked right into the camera!!! Hello Disney, invite him, too!!!!
