10 Covid-Friendly Valentine’s Day Date Ideas

Hello everyone! And welcome to another one of my seasonal/holiday-ish articles! Today since a majority of the world is still out of order or in quarantine due to the ongoing pandemic, I decided to focus in on some fun and easy stay-in date night ideas for Valentine’s Day! I know we’re still a little ways away from the day of love, but I figured this is a good way to plan ahead and get prepped; allowing everyone to still have a romantic night even if it’s taking place within the comfort of your own home! And don’t be fooled by the title, you don’t necessarily need a significant other to enjoy most of these activities! These are also some fun activities to do in a safe atmosphere with family or a small group for a Galentine’s evening as well! Overall I hope you enjoy the ideas below and start making the most of your 2021!

10. Take Out & A Movie

I figured I’d start off with the basics here. What to do on a typical night in? Watch a movie with some good ol’ takeout! Maybe take it up a notch for Valentine’s Day by ordering from a restaurant you might not normally get food from or take that crazy extra step and RENT a movie. Crazy stuff I’m suggesting here, I know. Or maybe even do a full movie marathon and order yourself some dessert too!

9. Have A Board Game Showdown

Have some board games or maybe even some one on one video games? Have a full blown showdown! Let your competitive side shine and keep score on who won the most games over the course of the evening. Call it the Game Olympics even. Maybe even make a winning bet! Whatever it takes to make things fun and for you both to enjoy your night!

8. Make Your Own Wine (or Beer) Tasting With A Charcuterie Board!

Take the elegance level of the evening to a new high with your own personal wine or beer tasting! Pick out some of your favor beverages or maybe some new ones that you’ve never had before! Spice things up a little more by creating a charcuterie board with food pairings that go well with your drink options! Maybe even throw a table cloth on the table and pretend you’re at a fancy restaurant for extra fun.
