The Second Time Around & 50th Post!

Hello Everyone! Wanna know some exciting news? I have just recently had my phone interview for ANOTHER possible Disney College Program this fall! Fingers crossed! I felt very confident with my interview and I am so excited to hear back from the company soon!

I wanted to write this short post just to let others who may have already done the program before and are considering applying again, know what it’s like the second time around. Alumni who have no bad standings with the company (aka termed or unreturned costuming items) usually tend to move through the application process quicker than the first time applicants. I only say this because of what I have observed. Many first time applicants are still in the applied phase of their submission, whereas all of the alumni I have talked to so far seem to already have a phone interview scheduled.

The phone interview itself is also slightly different. Since it is your second time applying for the program after a successful first, the questions are more geared towards your first program. They ask about the hardships of your first role as well as what you liked about it. They want to make sure you were able to handle the work load the first time before they place you back into the fast-paced environment for a second. They also do ask about past work experience before your first program as well as your dream work location. I should note though that everyone will have different interviews and every recruiter has a different interviewing style, this was just simply my experience. My interviewer was extremely nice and I really think we had a great conversation!

Lastly! It has come to my attention that this is my 50th blog post! Yay! Thank you to all of my followers and the people who have viewed my posts! You have no idea how much it means to me. I love helping others and I really hope that these posts are helpful to everyone! What better to be my 50th post then to announce that I have reapplied for the program!?
