On September 18th, 2020, throughout the United States, many were devastated with the tragic news that Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg had lost her battle with cancer. Not only had her accomplishments paved the way for women in the United States, but influenced and inspired millions around the world. She was proof that not only could a woman do anything she puts her mind to, but also that she can create her own future no matter what the ‘social norms’ may be. In honor of her passing, her legend deserves to live on and her influence should still go forward to inspire young girls out there longing to pursue their dreams.
